OUR WEEKEND!

Well, we had another great weekend with the kids. Chance and Wyatt were here as were Sofie and Victoria. Tyler had a "must attend" birthday party to go to. You know, social status is everything at 16! Maddie, well, she bounced in and out the whole time. She's very busy as well! I picked the boys up around 10:00 on Sat morning after I got off work. We stopped in Muenster and bought summer sausage and smoked cheese! Not much left of that. Hung out Sat afternoon and goofed off. Sat night we went to a wedding reception for our friend Pat and her new husband, Ramoldo. We took our guitar, played and sang a few songs for them. Finished goofin' off later that night. Fell asleep on the couch and woke up around daylight with an aching back. Not as flexible as I used to be...don't laugh! Wyatt wanted to go fishing so I woke him up and we ventured into the wilds to catch our food. Bought a dz goldfish for bait. Caught nothing but had a blast shootin the breeze and spending one on one time. Wyatt stayed with my mom and Cap'n Ron to visit and ended up goin fishin again with Ron. He caught a 2 pound bass and let it go. Wyatt and I came home and he and the girls(who were dyin for him to get back!) went into the music room and did karaoke. Very cute! Chance and I got the pressure washer out and washed my truck. Then it was dinner time! Sour Cream enchiladas from scratch. That's how WE roll!! Everybody had a good meal and we played HIGH-LOW. It's a game we play every night at dinner. No cell phones, no computer or TV. Just good, old fashioned family conversation. If you are not familiar with HIGH-LOW, you take turns around the table. Everyone tells their high point of the day and their low point also. It really keeps everyone involved in each others' lives. Old fashioned, I know, but it dang sure works. The girls really look fwd to it and we say grace, laugh, love and enjoy each other as a family should. Hopefully, this will carry over to their families!

LOVE AND HAPPINESS,
MARK
