Amy's Daily Planner
Wed. Dec. 17th: Sofie's Girl Scout meeting was cancelled- I officially volunteered to be a 'helper' so they wouldn't have to cancel anymore when the leader is sick- my Dad is driving to Bowie today to attend Maddie's prayer group at her school- tonight is DateNight- YAY!!!

Paige beginning her portfolio of photography...
Paige is going to college in the fall to study photography. She wants to specialize in family photography. She has started her portfolio, and this past weekend she took lots of pics of Maddie. Of course, Mad loved it- being a 'model' for the day. Paige already has such a talent for this- we are so excited to see what she does with it!!!

COOKIEMANIA!!!!
Oh how much fun we had baking cookies, home-made frosting & ALL!!! We had such a mess to clean up, but it was SO worth it. The girls gave Mark tastes of the frosting from their fingers, & proceeded getting it on their faces & in their hair!! Victoria put so many sprinkles on her cookies that they were crunchy!!! Madison & her friend Kaylan made their own dough, and tried to make one giant cookie- it melted- and just filled the whole cookie-sheet, but it was delicious- we let it cool, and then used the cookie-cutters to cut out shapes and it worked out just fine!
Just the girls & I took a trip to Wichita Falls Saturday. We ate crab legs, shrimp cocktail, and lobster tail, then headed to the mall so they could spend their Christmas $$$$. I actually had a great time. Now that they are so big, and I don't have to worry about a stroller, or one of them running off and hiding in a clothes-rack- it was actually enjoyable!!! It also gave Mark & the boys some much-needed male-bonding without screaming, giggling girls...
We had a fabulous New Yr's Eve party- just the kids and a couple of friends- played board games and ate lots of junk-food!!! Mamu came over & so did Aunt Terry & Kody- we had a ball!!!

How fast a year goes by...
Well, I can't believe it's all over. Whew... I am so tired. I got sick the day after Christmas- and still have it- so my time off from work has been very tiring- I can't lie down- if I do , I just cough and cough- severely!!! And nothing has worked! But I worked through it last week- just Wed. through Fri. and I didn't have to come back until today- just wish I could sleep, then all would be well...
Anyway- Christmas Eve the girls spent the day with us- we had the boys- Mark worked the morning while I cooked- Paige helped me before she left with her b-friend, Don, to spend the day with his folks- my Dad and brother, Matt, came with gifts for everyone- so sweet!!! Mamu came over, also with gifts- and we had a great dinner... I was so nervous the kids were going to be disappointed with the amount of gifts they received- but to my surprise- every-ONE of them screamed, smiled, and thanked us many times for getting them what they wanted!!! SO RELIEVED!!! Mark and I have agreed to do our gift exchange on Valentine's Day! I can't wait!!!
This Christmas was filled with much happiness for all of us- everyone happy and healthy and together- and me with the love of my life!!!!! Couldn't be better!!!
