1st Baptist Chrismas Program...
This last Sunday was the annual Christmas program at church. As you can see, we were sitting in the balcony, so you can't see my girls- but trust me- they sang their little hearts out! See if you can find them- Sofie is in the middle row- Victoria is on the front row...We could hear Victoria over everyone else sometimes. They had food & fellowship afterwards- games for the kids- and a sleigh-ride. Should've gotten more pictures, but I did order a video of the whole thing. I just can't believe my girls didn't have any solos- don't the music teachers know talent when they hear it? ~wink~

My 1st pheasant hunting trip...
Mark got invited to go pheasant hunting in Hereford this past weekend. A friend from work invited him. He has been wanting to hunt pheasant "my whole life"- his dad told him stories his WHOLE life about his hunting trips- he was so excited to go- I missed him horribly- but it's all over now. I got to help him clean the birds and put them in the freezer. YAY We are saving 2 of the 5 to have mounted. I told Mark he could put whatever dead animals he wanted in the house (in the music room only)- Or his shop outside- or in the garage- I just don't want to wake up in the middle of the night with a dead animal staring at me... they are really pretty though... I always want my husband to get to go live out ALL his dreams- It makes for a happy home... One day, I'm sure I'll want to go do something crazy, and I'm sure he'll let me- no questions asked... ~wink~wink~

Cousin Bridgett's House...
My cousin Bridgett, invited us over to her house yesterday. My brothers Matt & Jason came over. Jason's wife Shelley, and their daughter Kaylan (3)were there too. Bridgett's brother, Semie, and his son Jonathan (6)- & Bridgett's three babies- Jeremiah (2 1/2), Rachel (1 1/2), and Rebacca (6 mos). We had the best time- everyone's kids are so sweet- we are going to try and get together once a month- it's a 2 hr drive- but it's worth it...
Thank you Bridgett for feeding us!!! I love you!!!

Bowie's Annual Fall-Fest...
A few Saturdays ago, Madison took a trip to Houston with her Dad, the boys were hunting, so the two little girls & I had a FUN-DAY!!! First we made our goodies for the cake-walk. Sofie made lemon bars, and V made butterscotch-pecan sugar cookies. I let them do most of the work, & they also made little tags with their name on it & tied them to the desserts. After that, we went to Mamu's shop & I gave them both a haircut, and also polished their toenails. Then it was time to go to the carnival. Sofie won a huge german chocolate cake when she did the cake-walk. Gigee came to hang out with us for awhile too!! We stayed there for 3 hours and still had tickets left over- so the girls gave their un-used tickets to some friends and we went home. We had a great day- no melt-downs, no fighting, and no tears all day long!!! That is a day to remember...

Thanksgiving '08
What a fun day- it was so relaxed- we had merlot (my Mommy-in-law brought a bottle over)- the food was all amazing- everyone brought something- Captain Ron (father-in-law) said a beautiful grace before our meal- and it was just lovely- the whole day was filled with laughter- I feel like a stuffed turkey- sipping on eggnog with Mamu right now... I love cooking and entertaining with the china- especially when I have such a great 'helper' thank you honey ~wink~ I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their family and friends!!!
